BCE benefits from Astral acquisition in Q2

MONTREAL - BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE) says second-quarter profits rise 6.1 per cent to $606 million, or 78 cents per share, from $571 million or 74 cents per share a year earlier. Operating revenues grew 4.4 per cent to $5.22 billion as the telecommunications company benefited from higher advertising and subscriber fee revenues tied to the Astral acquisition.
