New chain of command at Barriere fire hall

Last Thursday the Barriere Fire Department welcomed Mayor Smith, Councillor Fennell, District staff and members of the public for a gathering and barbecue with the firefighters to thank Acting Fire Chief Rob Lennea for all his support, dedication and hard work since he took over the position in October of 2016.  Mayor Smith then presented the newly appointed Chief, Drew McMartin, and newly appointed Deputy Chief, Todd English, with their epaulettes (shoulder bars) of rank.
